I became intrigued by acupuncture over 10 years ago, after struggling to overcome a back injury. The acupuncture treatment I received was effective and sparked an interest in the philosophies behind Chinese medicine and how this translated into practice.
I studied at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and elected to train in China as the final part of my acupuncture course. After being introduced to many new techniques during this trip, I decided to return to China and study with a doctor in the acupuncture department of the 7th peoples hospital of Nanning. During this year I also taught English and traveled, which gave further insight into the Chinese culture.
Now practicing in Hobart, I combine the traditional healing methods developed over thousands of years by the Chinese, such as acupuncture, massage, herbs, cupping, moxibustion and diet. My diagnosis takes many factors into account and treatment is tailored to each person individually. This natural approach aims to correct imbalances, prevent illness and maintain health.

I am a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association and can provide rebates for acupuncture with most private health insurers.
